- Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA),
- Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA),
- NGO Affairs Bureau.

Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA)’s Procedure:
If you about to join the private sector of our industrial enterprises you need to apply to the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA). There still are more conditions you would need to check before filling up the applying form. I am trying to cover all the conditions here. Let’s take a look.
Conditions for The Expatriate:
One has to be from the list of countries that Bangladesh recognize to employment. The expatriate has to be at least 18 years old or over. S/he would require a security clearance from the ministry of home affairs of Bangladesh.
Conditions for The Company:
The subjected enterprise that an expatriate is applying for, should be registered by Bangladesh government. If any local candidates are available for the job, said the company cannot employ foreign personnel. Industrial companies cannot recruit more than 5% of foreign employees. And, the limit for commercial companies is 20%.
Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA)’s Procedure:
You would need to apply to the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) if you are planning to work in the export processing zone (EPZ). Companies that have their own factory in the EPZ can only recruit foreign employees. Expatriates can apply for BEPZA issued work permit upon their arrival in Bangladesh. Also, applicants are expected to submit a photocopy of his/her passport, Visa recommendation letter, with the appointment letter or the contract letter of the employment, with a copy of the recruitment advertisement post in any newspaper.
NGO Affairs Bureau’s Procedure:
If you are planning to join any Non-governmental organizations (NGO), in that case, you would need to apply to the NGO Affairs Bureau for your work permit in here. Your organization would help you regarding the whole procedure.
